Companies with products certified to NSF/ANSI 305 by QAI should be aware that QAI will not allow its corporate logo or certification mark to be used on NSF/ANSI 305 certified products. This is not a change to the standard, but a policy clarification after a deeper review of the standard. Going forward, the statement “Certified to NSF/ANSI 305 by QAI” should be used with the NSF Contains Organic Ingredients mark.

We understand that it takes a while to update packaging design, so existing customers using the QAI logo/mark on their NSF/ANSI 305 products will be allowed to continue using their already printed packaging until their products come up for annual review and the packaging needs to be redesigned.
