QAI’s Certified Organic mark is found on thousands of organic products around the world and maintaining consumers’ recognition and trust in it is really important to us. By upholding clear guidelines on how our mark is used, we can maintain its integrity and professionalism. QAI has started enforcing these guidelines, so if the mark on your product packaging is not compliant with the guidelines below, please update it before your next print run.

Eligible Products

The QAI Certified Organic mark can be used on products that are certified by QAI to the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) and Canadian Organic Regime (COR). These certified products must meet 100% organic, organic or made with organic claim requirements.

Wording in Addition to the Certification Mark

If the product is in retail packaging, it must display the phrase “Certified Organic by QAI” or “Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International”. For non-retail packaging, please refer to the organic standard for the requirement and placement of this wording.

Mark Minimum Dimensions

Minimum size dimension are 3/8” (0.9525 cm) in height or legible to a QAI technical reviewer. If used with the USDA Organic Seal, the USDA Organic Seal must be larger than the QAI organic mark.

Colors

Reproductions of these marks are to be clear, precise and of the highest quality. The mark can be used appear in one of three colors: blue, black or white. No other colors are permitted.
